Browsing designers
Tailore gives you two ways to browse: a directory of designer studios and a shop of individual designs. This article shows what each surface offers and how to narrow it down.
Two ways to browse
The navigation bar offers two starting points. Find designers opens the designer directory - browse by studio when you care most about who you will work with. Explore designs opens the shop - browse individual designs when you already know the kind of garment you want.

The designer directory
On /designers, the search bar ("Search studios, specialties, or location") takes free text, a row of category pills narrows by specialty (All, Bridal, Traditional wear, African wear, Formalwear, Evening wear, Menswear, Streetwear, Prom), and a location filter narrows by region or country. There is no sort control - use search and filters to shape the results.
Each studio card shows a cover image, the studio name (with a Founding badge where applicable), up to two specialties, one fulfillment signal (international shipping, domestic shipping, or local pickup), and "From" plus a price when the studio shares a typical starting price. A star rating pill appears once the studio has at least one review - a card without one means no reviews yet, not a bad rating.
Every studio in the directory can take a real project
Only studios that are payment-ready and have at least one published listing appear in the directory. You will never shortlist a studio that cannot actually accept your project.
Browsing designs in the shop
On /shop, the search bar ("Search garments, occasions, styles, or cultural traditions") is joined by quick chips (Bridal, Wedding, Prom, Traditional, Formal) and a fuller filter set: Listing type (Custom or Made-to-order - see Custom vs. made-to-order), Price, Garment type, Studio location, Cultural style, Category, Rating (from Any rating up to 4.8 & up), Fulfillment options (Domestic shipping, International shipping, Local pickup), and Lead time (from Under 1 week to 1+ month).
You can also sort: Most relevant (when you have searched), Newest, Price: Low to high, or Price: High to low. Each listing card shows a photo, the garment type, the title, the studio name, the studio's city and country, a "From" price, and the studio's star rating. Locations are city-level only - street addresses are never shown publicly.

No. It is a starting price for the simplest version of a design. The final price is always set in your project's proposal. Understanding designer listings explains how listing pricing works.
Yes, in the shop: the Lead time filter offers Under 1 week, 1-2 weeks, 2-4 weeks, and 1+ month.
Use the location filter on /designers to narrow by region or country, or the Studio location filter on /shop. Cards show each studio's city and country.
