Creating a Tailore account
Signing up takes an email address and a password, or one tap with Google. This article walks the exact flow and answers what an account is actually needed for.
When you need an account
Browsing never requires an account - designers, the Shop, studio profiles and listings are all public. You need to sign in the moment you want to send an inquiry, message a studio, or pay for a project. Accounts are free.
Signing up
Tailore uses one email-first flow for both signing up and signing in, so you never have to remember which one you need.
Select Join in the header
Join opens the sign-in window on any page.
Enter your email address
Type it into the Email field and select Continue. Tailore checks whether that address already has an account: a new address continues to signup, an existing one goes to password sign-in.
Add your name and a password
For a new address, enter your Full name and set a password in Create password - it needs 8+ characters. Then select Create account. You are signed in right away.
Or continue with Google
When Continue with Google is offered, you can skip the password entirely. Google confirms your email address automatically.
Email confirmation is not currently required before you can use your account. If a confirmation email does arrive, follow it - a confirmed address keeps your account easier to recover.
One account for everything
The same account works for buying and, if you ever want it, for selling: there is no separate client account, and opening a designer studio later happens from the account you already have. See For designers if that path interests you.
Forgot your password? The sign-in screen has a password reset - request it there and follow the email. For account safety habits, see Protecting your account.
