Updating account information

Every account setting on Tailore lives in one hub. This article maps it: name, email, location, security, and preferences - plus where studio contact and public details live if you run a studio.

Where account settings live

Your account settings page is the hub, headed "Manage your account". It has three rows: Account info ("Update the display name and email connected to your Tailore account."), Security for changing your password, and Privacy and data ("Review what appears publicly, and request account deletion.").

Name, email and location

The Account info page holds three independent cards, each saved on its own. Your display name has its own Save changes button. Your email has its own Save changes too - the change is direct, and an address already in use by another account is refused.

City and country are saved together with Save location. This is "Your approximate location. It's never shown publicly." - it never appears on any public page.

Preferences

Preferences on the settings hub
PreferenceWhat you can do today
LanguageRead-only English for now - the hub says "More languages coming later."
AnalyticsA consent control: allow or refuse analytics for your account.
Email notificationsChoose which notification categories email you - see [Managing notifications](/help/designers/manage-notifications).

If you run a studio

Studio information lives in two other places, not on the account hub. Contact details - the business email shown on your Stripe payout account, and your mobile number - live in your studio settings under "Contact and verification".

Everything the public sees - studio name, bio, location, price range, specialties, services, photos, and social links - is edited in the Store editor. Completing your Studio profile walks through every section.
